Question:
2 surgeons have said I would not be a good candidate due to Gastroparesis

I had a gastric empty scan which showed I had 92% of solid food still in my stomach after 90 minutes. 2 surgeons have both said I would not be a good candidate for weight loss surgery. first of all I never had that test and know no one who did.. why would it matter how long the food stays in your stomach where are you from what state there must be other Doctors Or YOu might have to travel out of state I would move heaven and earth to get this surgery I had a open RNY distal on 11-1-00 and have most 43 lbs and feel fantastic good luck in your search

Without knowing all the specifics (why did you have this test), I would agree with Kathleen. If they don't think you would be a good canidate for *one* specific surgery, maybe you would be a good canidate for another type of weight loss surgery.... they're are MANY different types!!
