Question:
I live and work in NJ, but my ins is BCBC of PA, PPO. Anybody have this experience?
What about when you live and work in NJ but, your ins. company is in Pennsylvania and the name is BCBS of PA, PPO. Previously, doctors offices have been leary because they are in PA and they say they don't get paid. Has anybody experienced this? — Jerseygirl B. (posted on November 2, 2004)

I live in Delaware and have Pennsylvania PPO. What I did was use a surgeon
in Center City Philadelphia. Most of my doctors are in PA since I don't
have a clue of the Delaware network. But as long as they are a provider
for the PA PPO they will get paid. Check the BCBS PA PPO providers online
to see the the Doctors are listed. If they are not they are out of
network.

I live in PA, but I work in sales, so my company is actually located in CA.
I have Aetna HMO and they covered my surgery. I had my surgery done in
NJ. It really shouldn't be a problem. Why not look for a surgeon in both
PA and NJ?
