Question:
Question about Treadmill brands
Hi y'all. I want a treadmill that is #1 Durable, #2 Quiet (so I can watch the news while walking and not wake the whole house), #3 Folds up. I'm not concerned about price if I can meet these 3 criteria. Any suggestions out there because currently...I am overwhelmed by all there are to choose from. Thanks!! Hey there :) I would suggest looking in the consumers report book or
magazine where they have many listings there and there pros and cons. I
know one thing for sure, is that you want an automatic one with a wide
walking belt. This helps you to keep up the pace and also from stepping
off the belt while walking. The narrow belts are too dangerous unless you
can keep your feet on the belt without stepping off. HOpe this helps you
some....God BLess and hope you find what your looking for. :) Myrna

Sears has an excellent selection that should meet your requirments at a
moderate price. Just be sure to check the weight capacity on the one you
buy.

I highly recommend ProForm. They are available at Sear's and other places.
Mine is quiet and sturdy and folds in half.

I would recommend the PaceMaster Proplus. I researched this a few years ago
and purchased this machine. It has provided outstanding service. I
purchased my from Exercare. http://www.exercare.com/products/pacemast.htm

If it helps, my hubby went to sears and got me the Weslo Cadence, it has up
to jogging speeds, 3 inclines for uphill over time, counters for calories
burned and all that also has three sets of hand weights on hooks at each
side, a cup holder, safety belt, towel space, and folds up. I have mine
beside a Tv and VCR, I can walk and watch a movie or the news, keeps me
distracted so I don't watch the time, I walk longer then, they run about
$800. Hope this helps.
