Question:
Why would a doctor do lapband in one area and rny in a diff. location?

The doc I am lookin at does the lapband in Truckee and the rny in Ventura. I dont get to meet with him till next week so I can ask him. I was hoping somebody here might know. Could be an issue of equipment not being available to do the LAP in Truckee. Just hazarding a guess :>)

whoops helps if I read the question better. Banding vs RNY...hmm no clue at all! Odd I'd say! I'd love to know the reason when you find out though.

Find out if he does both procedures Lap if not its probably what Ruth said he doesnt have the equipment for Lap surgeries at both hospitals.
