Question:
I HAVE TO MANY CONCERN PLEASE HELP
IM 2 MONTH POST-OP I DOWN 60# BUT IS SLOWING A LOT, IN BEEN WITH NO ENERGY AT ALL NOT EVEN TO DO HOUSE WORK ,RIGHT NOW I NOT WORKING ,I SCHOOL BUS DRIVER AND I START IN THE 26TH OF THIS MONTH I HAVE A LOT AND I MEAN A LOT TO DO BEFORE I START WORKING AGAIN AND I CANT SEEM TO START MOVING AND START DOING THINGS WHAT CAN I DO? DO YOU GUYS TAKE SOMETHING FOR THE ENERGY? AND ANOTHER THING CAN MY PROTEIN SHAKE AND JUICE CAN I COUNTED LIKE THE WATER I SUPOST TO DRINK BECAUSE SOMETIME I DONT EVEN DRINK A GLASS OF WATER FOR FULL DAY? CAN I TAKE B COMPLEX OR IT ONLY B-12 THAT WE NEED? SORRY TO ASK TO MUCH I DONT HAVE A DOCTOR THAT I CAN CALL AND ASK HIM I DID THE SURGERY IN ANOTHER COUNTRY AND I DONT HAVE INS PLEASE HELP ME THANK YOU. — mabel S. (posted on August 19, 2002)

If you are not drinking you sound like your getting dehydrated. I had no
energy until I started getting all my water in. Try drinking through a
straw that really helped me. Exercise was the other thing that upped my
energy. Try to start walking if you are not already. Walk even one block
then the next day try to walk two. I bet if you start getting in your
water and try walking you will start to feel more energy within a week.

I agree with Alison! When I don't get all of my water in, I get really
tired. There are other things that can affect your energy levels, but
water is a great place to start.

I agree about the water and exercise. You may also want to consider talking
to your PCP doctor and getting B-12 shots (get the shot once a
month)prescribed. I have heard that these have a more impact then the
pills. I take the pills, because they work for me. Also, are you getting a
mulit-vitman with iron in every day. Iron is important.
