Question:
What is this pain and why is it happening now?
I am 10 weeks post-op and I am having this pain all of a sudden. If you put your fist in between your breast and then move it down about 2 inches that is where the pain is. The first time I had it it lasted about 15 minutes and that was Monday morning at 4 am. Now it is periodically but sometimes it is breath-taking. What is going on? Please give me ANY advice! — Crystal D. (posted on June 11, 2002)

Hmmm, may be a good question for your doctor. You don't mention if you've
just had a drink or if it just strikes suddenly. Nor do you mention if
you've had any problem with your heart. There are so many different
possible reasons depending on the type of surgery and your particular
physical condition.
I'm sensitive in the same location. I attribute the sensitivity to muscle
spasms since I had open surgery. It's never been bad enough to worry me.
In your case though I'd suggest you call your doctor. He/she is there to
help you.
I hope he/she can provide help and reassurance.

Maybe a stricture or your gallbladder?
