Question:
Why can i eat so much more?
I am really scared. Some times I cannot eat anything and other times I am able to eat ALOT of food. I dont understand this. I am scared I am going to gain my weight back. Why does this fluctuate so much. I had my surgery last July and I am down to 117 lbs. Some times I am just a vulture and eat everything I can. What is going on? — Jennifer L. I think what you are feeling is normal, when your pouch heals you can take
more food in , but there are days when nothing goes down right or sits
right , i am 15 mo out and have the same feelings but my doc said it normal
to fluctuate on the amout of food you can eat from day to day, but to make
sure i get all my protien in and make sur i make good choises on what i
eat, no carbs, bres=d , past ,etc.to eat the protien instead, and you
should be fine , be carful not to graze, hipe this helps, oh and if you get
all your potien in it should stop most of the cravings.:)

Some days (and/or meals) I can eat alot and other times I can't. It's
strange. But sometimes I wonder if it is the "consistancy" of the
food I eat that causes me to get full earier. But as long as we don't eat
alot ALL THE TIME.

Jennifer, I also had my surgery last July. I am down 120 pounds, and am
doing the same thing you are. Somedays I eat alot, and other days I can't
eat much at all. I do think it has alot to do with what you are eating. If
it is heavy, I can only eat small amounts, if it is something lite, I eat
larger amounts. I do not know if this is normal, but after reading your
post I am inclined to think it is. I have noticed if I do not drink enough
water, I seem to eat more though out the day. Good luck.
