Question:
36lbs in 2 months... What can I do to speed it up?
I know I should be happy that I have lost 36lbs in 8 weeks, but I wanted to have lost more...I have a total of 130lbs to lose from my starting weight. I have been exercising every week, I try to eat as healthy as possible, and I drink lots of water...is there anything else I can do? I am afraid that I will stop losing weight. — Connie R. I think you are doing great! You started out at a lower BMI than most, as
I did and I think you are losing fairly comparable to me and others of a
lower 40 BMI. keep up the good work. Take it one day at a time and next
year you will be amazed at how fast the time went by.

It sound's like your doing fine to me. You started at a relatively low BMI
so you won't lose the same amount as someone who weighs 300 or 400. Look
at it in terms of percentage. If you started out 130 lbs overweight you've
already lost more than 25% of your excess.

You are doing fine.
you started at a lower weight, and BMI, so your weight loss will be slower
than someone who is larger.
I started at 400, and am down 62 pounds in 10 weeks.
men also lose quicker than women I am told.
One word of advice.
I discovered that when I was on protein powders that my weight loss stopped
almost completely. stay away from them. I stopped using them, and started
to steadily decline again.
get what you can from normal meals, and take your vitamins daily. You sound
like you are getting good excercise, so that should not be a problem. good
luck!
