A lot of that depends on your age. People in their early 20's have a much
better chance of toning up using exercise and therefore getting rid of the
excess flab. Unfortunately for those of us who are older, it might not
happen naturally, even with a lot of exercise.

Another thing, which of course is beyond our control, is your shape - apple
or pear. I'm a pear and I'm sure I won't need a tummy tuck. Apples are
more likely to need or want one because their weight is more in that area.

I agree with the last two posts on this.. Depends on age and elasticity
of your skin.. When I was at 5 months post-op I started the process for
the Abdominoplasty approval.. I had a very large pannus I was at/or
around 100 pounds lost then.. Now that I'm 152 pounds lost the pannus
seems to have shrunk somewhat, maybe it's just the fat tissue itself that
has shrunk leaving just the skin.. I still want the Abdominoplasty, but
may wait a little longer and closer to my goal weight to decide..
