Question:
Having trouble finding a pcp..

I am looking for a pcp to give me a referral...anyone know of a good pcp willing to give referrals for wls who also is in the chicagoland area?? Even if it is a out-of-network doctor I would be willing to pay for the appointment. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Also, is there anyone out there who's surgery was done by Dr. Salvino at Good Samaritan in Downer's Grove??    — christine L. (posted on June 5, 2000)

Hi, I just read your insurance question and I also had a problem with my PCP, it was suggested I try Dr. Kishner at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. I did and he is now my PCP, and he is wonderful! Northewstern has a specific bariatric dept. If you request they will send you a complete packet of information. The phone # is (312) 926-5454. I hope this helps...Good Luck!!!
