Question:
could gallbladder cause diahrrea all of a sudden?

I had back cramps and then they went away then I had terrible stomach cramps and diahrrea for 3 days. Everything I eat goes right through me. Does this sound like gallbaldder trouble? It seems like the flu with no other symptoms? I have a hard time eating and I am 9 months post op? This just started a week ago, all of a sudden? Any suggestions?    — Tammy K. You need to go to the doctor asap and get checked out for the root of the problem. Before my gall bladder was removed, the attacks I hada would come on and I'd have terrible symptoms of nausea, diarrhea and horrible pain right under my ribcage on the right side radiating to the back. Then after it was over, I'd be sore for days. Haven't had a problem with it since they removed my gall bladder. Get thee to the doctor, girl!

THE BEST THING IS JUST GO GET CHECKED. I HAD A PAIN IN MY RIGHT SIDE FOR 8 WEEKS, JUST A DULL ACHE. I HAD NONE OF THE STANDARD GALL BLADDER ALERT SIGNS. AFTER A PAINLESS TEST LASTING HALF AN HOUR I WAS TOLD I HAD MANY GALL STONES AND TOMORROW, APRIL THE 7TH THEY ARE TAKING IT OUT. MY SURGEON SAID THAT THE W.L.S. MANY TIMES WILL HELP A HEALTHY GALL BLADDER GO BAD. I'M OVER 2 YEARS OUT FROM AN OPEN R.N.Y. 2 YEARS AGO MY GALL BLADDER WAS FINE. HE EXPLAINED HOW THE W.L.S. CHANGES THE BODY CHEMICAL SYSTEM BRINGING ON GALL BLADDER FAILURE. I NEVER READ IT BUT HE TOLD ME THAT 80% OF W.L.S. PATIENTS WILL HAVE THEIR GALL BLADDERS REMOVED. HE IS DOING MINE LAP. IT'LL TAKE UNDER AN HOUR, AND I'LL GO HOME THAT DAY..STILL WOULDN'T TRADE A HEALTHY GALL BLADDER FOR THE 230#'s THAT ARE GONE.. GOOD LUCK.
