Out of the woods? I dunno. I had gall bladder surgery at 11 1/2 months
out and will be having hernia repair on 5/7 (14 1/2 months out). But we
all are different. Nina in Maine

Hi there, Viv! (Wonderful name!) I don't have a gallbladder, but I was
told by my doctor that it usually takes up to a year before you are
"Truly and Fully" healed and out of the woods for a hernia, he
told me not to worry too much about it, but if I wanted to lift more than
25 pounds to be careful with that or ask my hubby. Hers' the link to your
other request. http://www.digitalhorsewoman.com/pouchrules.htm Hope this
helps. Vi open RNY 9/23/02 down 129 lbs.
