Question:
Anyone had Dr. Wolfe at UCD in Sacramento?

Have you had experience with Dr. Wolfe or his office? I keep getting delays from his receptionist and she is very difficult to understand on the phone. She has a thick accent. She tells me they are getting an additional doctor in October, 2002 and she will schedule me for then. She also said that I should be able to receive the surgery 3-4 months after the initial consultation. True? I have already done a ton of footwork.    — Cindy J. (posted on August 6, 2002)

I used Dr. Nguyen, at the same office. I do believe the wait has extended a bit - since my surgery in 2000. My initial consultation was the end of May and I had my surgery the end of July. I made a point to get all of my tests (ekg, blood, ultrasounds) done immediately, and I also had no issues with my insurance. It all went pretty quickly. You must be patient, I understand your frustration in the communication breakdown... but I think they have more than one receptionist?
