Anyone had Dr. Wolfe at UCD in Sacramento?

Have you had experience with Dr. Wolfe or his office? I keep getting delays from his receptionist and she is very difficult to understand on the phone. She has a thick accent. She tells me they are getting an additional doctor in October, 2002 and she will schedule me for then. She also said that I should be able to receive the surgery 3-4 months after the initial consultation. True? I have already done a ton of footwork.
