Question:
Does champus/trigon ever cover arm surgery and / or tummy tucks
At this point i dont even want to face surgery again but i was wondering for future use if Champus (retired mil) Trigon ever covers the "arm" surgery for bat wings or the tummy tuck. Ive heard you have to have a hernea but just wondring... — Jackiis (posted on May 6, 2002)

Yes, Tricare does cover tummy tucks, I don't know about the arms. I'm
preop, scheduled May 9. I have talked to several on military message
board and several women have had or are having tummy tuck.. Hope this
helps, Tricia

I am spouse of retired Military and Champus would NOT pay one cent on my
surgery for Arm "batwings" or tummy tuck either.. I have had this
year a total lower body lift, brachiplasty(arm skin reduction) inner thigh
reduction and they paid nothing on any of it. At this point they are still
fighting as to whether to pay anything on my orginal surgery in May 2001
the RNY.. good luck.
