Try going to find a peer on this site. Then check profiles and look at
surgeons names and their profiles for a complete list of surgeons in your
area and surrounding states. Curious how much $ are they willing to pay?
Will they cover your travel expenses? It would be nice if your profile were
public.

Just yesterday on GMA, there were twin sisters from Oklahoma that were
having trouble getting medicaid to cover the expense. There are doctors
from the Physician's Hospital of Oklahoma who are going to perform their
surgeries for free. Maybe they would be willing to accept the vocational
rehab payment? Here is the page about that situation.

for yours? Here's is the page about that situation. Hope this helps.

Dr. Warnock in Wichita Falls is a great doctor. You might contact his
office and talk to them about it.

From Chickasha, Oklahoma...I used Dr. Linda Johnson at Southern Plains
Medical Center (405)224-8111. I do not know about being with the
rehabilation part, but she is an awesome caring doctor, and I guarante she
genuinely cares about her patients. Good Luck!

I agree with the last poster, Dr. Gorospe in Tulsa, OK has done hundreds of
these surgeries, as a matter of fact he is doing mine on Jan. 29. I'm both
scared and excited, but I know my health will improve. In a support group
meeting, I did hear it mentioned about vocational rehabilitation. Good luck
in whatever you decide.
