Question:
Do we share an employer?

Do any of you work for Aramark Educational Resources? If you do, will you share your information regarding AETNA and AER's policy on surgery? I have been researching surgery for 6 months--this included calling AETNA all the time!!! Any information or tips would be greatly appreciated!!!!!    — jenn2002 (posted on January 1, 2002)

I do not share your employer, but I have Aetna and I was approved in 24 hours! BE SURE TO HAVE ALL YOU DOCUMENTAION DONE WHEN YOU SUBMIT, INCLUDING 6 MONTHS DR. SUPERVIDSED DIET/PILLS. E mail me if you want more info.

I have AETNA and I was very pleased with their response. They do have 30 business days to respond to the request for coverage on the wls. They took 16 days for me. I made sure I had everything well documented including a 2nd opinion from another dr., all of my dr. supervised diets, diet pills, etc., which was really what they wanted to see!
