What kind of surgery does Dr. Hocking prefer?

What kind of surgery does Dr. Hocking seem to prefer to do open or lap?I know i should probably not concern myself with this till I am able to seeHim.But my spouse has concerns and I am trying to educated him the best that I can. Hi, If you are referring to Dr Michael Hocking in Gainsville Florida, He does open proximal rny on all his patients. the one exception is if you are very heavy (over 500 lbs he told me) he will then offer an open distal rny. He is my doctor and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is wonderful
