Question:
Should I or shouldn't I???
Hello everyone, HELP! I'm at the end of my rope. I don't know what to do. I'm pre op, and am at my highest weight ever in my life. I'm thinking that I need to start to diet and exercise, because I really don't think I can handle being this overweight anymore FYI, I'm 6' and about 380lbs. I'm working with my 4th ins. company and I don't want to mess things up. What do you all think should I start to diet and exercise? At the rate I'm going I"m going to be 400 lbs soon and I really don't think I could handle that. THank you, and best Wishes to everyone~ pokie — Michael (pokie) F. (posted on September 5, 2000)

Hi Pokie, My question is: What is going on with insurance that you have
been thru 4? Please e-mail me if there is anything I can do to help you
with the insurance process. I know they can be terrible but many
exclusions can be gotten around. I read your profile which was not much
help because you have no insurance information posted there. In answer to
your question, though, even if you are still planning for surgery, exercise
will help you. Even a moderate Exercise program will help your respiratory
system, giving you some benefits in your breathing after just a month or
so. A little increased muscle tone feels better. This will help your
recovery after surgery greatly. Best of luck.
