I drank de-caf iced tea, sugar free kool-aid, and any juice that is NOT
from concentrate(too much sugar, made me throw up)After close to 6mo. I
drank caffeine free sugar free pop with next to no fizz. The fizz gave me a
belly ache- and to this day(17mo. later) I still get rid of the fizz. I
drink Vernors and open the bottle before I go to bed and it is usually
close to un fizzy by morning. There are alot of drinks made without sugar
just experiment. I used to take trips to the grocery store and just take
my time and real labels. Fats were really hard for me to tolerate too, I
learned to read, read, read all the labels. Hope this helps. Good Luck,

If I understand the question, yes you can drink up to 8 oz. or fruit or
veg. juice per day. Mind you, that's juice not fruit "drink."

I'm so predictable. Sugar free, lactose free protein supplement. Water.
Crystal Light. Water. Sugar free Tang. Water. Decaf tea. Water. Do this
and the weight will fall off so fast you'll hear it hit the floor!

I rarely drink more than water and iced tea anymore. I
drink 4 liters of water a day, and 32 oz of iced tea in the
evening. I have heard that Crystal Light is good. But that
type of stuff is just too sweet for me anymore. And after
getting all my water in I really don't want anything else
anyway.

Hi, Don't know if this will help but I have been using crystal light as
directed and then pouring about 1/2 bottle of gatoraide in the crystal
light. Not too sweet then and also getting all of the electrolytes from
the gatoraide. Also if you dilute apple juice 1/2 and 1/2 water it is not
too bad. I can't handle the sweet drinks so I had to find something else.
Water is also very good for you at least once a day. Hope this helps.

Water. Avoid drinks with high calories, they prevent you from losing
weight and crowd out the space available for nutritious food.

What type of surgery did you have? Most post-ops don't handle fruit juices
well at all because of the concentration of natural sugars. I am allowed
V-8 because it has no sugar, but only a serving or two a day. For getting
fluids into your body, you need to be drinking no calorie non carbonated
beverages, Water, Crystal Lite, Diet Soda that's been left out for more
than 15 min to minimize carbonation, decaf coffee or tea ... Not something
with a high sugar content. Best of luck!
