Question:
Should I have to pay hospital fees for a plastic surgery revision?

If the surgeon is going in to correct some lumps that have appeared after lipo, should I have to pay for the facility fees? He is not charging me for his part. But the facility wants $400.00. I had lipo in July 2004, and have two "lumps" that have appeared - one on the front of my thigh, and one on my hip. We have tried to aspirate, but there is no fluid. Has anyone else had to pay for touch-up fees?    — raye (posted on March 15, 2005)

If the facility is not owned by the doctor, then yes, you would have to pay that portion since only the doctor's work is still "free". My doctor will do touch-up's in his office, including lipo. If it's a small area, can't he just do it in his office?
