Question:
Has anyone had the ABG and had problems with leaks?

I had my lapband done by Dr.Rumbaut in Monterrey Mexico on June 4th. SInce that time I have lost extremely little and have learned that there is a problem with my apparatus. Has anybody else had this problem? How did your doctor handle it?    — Klynn D. (posted on October 6, 2003)

Hey, you didn't say what specific problem you are having with your Band .. I was blessed not to have anything go wrong with mine, but I know that equipment failures are generally easily rectified. Do you plan to go back to Dr. Rumbaut to have it fixed, or have the repair done here? You may get more answers at the LapBand forum here, or at www.spotlighthealth.com lap band support forum. OK, read your profile, and I really suggest seeking peers at www.spotlighthealth.com LapBand Support .. I know some Rumbaut patients there and some others who have had port problems resolved. They should be able to give you specific answers about the culpability of Inamed. Good luck; I know you're frustrated.
