Question:
How quickly could I get Walter Lindstrom to help with my appeal
I should be getting my denial letter in the mail no later than Thursday. I have a surgery date of 9/30/03. Does anyone know if with Walter Lindstrom packages that he offers one of them is for an expedited appeal and have you ever done this. How much did it cost and when was this? I know that his has gotten really busy this year. I won't be able to use him if it takes 60 to 90 days. Has anyone used Walter Lidstrom recently? Thanks in advance for you help Anniee — Anniee M. My personal opinion is don't waste your money. If he is able to turn
around the insurance company then you, working with your surgeon and PCP
should also be able to do the same. See exactly what the denial says and
figure out a strategy. Personally I think Walter Lindstrom is over rated.

Annie, I waited for several days I think around 3 days, I sent him an email
and also I called his office. Kelley his wife called me back and told me
what she needed from me. They have tons of clients, I did hire them and it
did worked for me. As soon as he did my appeal I got my approval. I will
suggest for you to call them and explain your case , he will let you know
if he can take your case.
Good Luck!!!

-Hi Annie,
I used the Lindstrom's just last month, and won on the first appeal. They
are worth it. If you factor in all the stress that comes from dealing with
the insurance company (CIGNA) he was money well spent. The other poster was
right when she said you could probably win on your own. But, the stress I
faced just jumping through the initial hoops they wanted, only to deny me
anyway. That showed me they were going to push me around until the very
last possible moment or I got so stressed and gave up. I decided that a
little muscle was in order to even up the playing fields, as you can see by
the many people they have denied recently that they were not concerned for
our health and didn't care how long it took for us to gain approval. As far
as hiring the Lindstrom's and them being over rated I feel I did the right
thing for me and they did their Job of getting my approval, and quickly I
might add! I got my approval letter today and my surgery is scheduled for
9/05. Do what is best for you, if you can afford the Lindstrom's and don't
want to endure the stress then go for it.. They can provide you with all
the info. Go to their web site and fill out their form and they will let
you know if they can help you and give you pricing on all your options. The
expedited service is $1,100.00 and he will have your appeal ready in 72
hrs. If they don't approve on the first appeal he will represent you all
the way to the last stand for that fee as well. I wish you luck on your
journey. God Bless,
Vikki
