Question:
I bought the egg beaters yesterday, The carton says 1/4 cup = 1 egg.

I measured and made an omelet with 1/4 cup. But it seemed like a lot to me. I thru in some ground beef and cheese. But the thing is, I think it was way more than 1 egg. I was able to eat most of it, although now I am very nauseated. The question is, is because egg beaters are mostly egg whites that it seems like a lot more or did I just mess up?    — Monique W. Well...an egg = 2oz and 1/4 a cup = 2oz so it would be correct. You might be nausiated if you are still in the 2oz a meal stage, and with the ground beef, you had a bit more than 2 oz. I don't know...but the measurements are correct!

Well I can eat one egg white, most of the time just half it with a piece of turkey bacon, perhaps it seemed like alot because of the ground beef that you added, meat has more volume in the pouch than I suppose just a 1/4 cup of egg beaters, try just eating the egg beaters with maybe a slice of cheese and see how well you tolerate that, but I certainly don't think that you messed up, and even if you did we are all human...6weeks out and down 38lbs open rny Tori

The amounts on the containers for the egg white(egg substitutes) are correct. You did not mess up.
