I bought the egg beaters yesterday, The carton says 1/4 cup = 1 egg.

I measured and made an omelet with 1/4 cup. But it seemed like a lot to me. I thru in some ground beef and cheese. But the thing is, I think it was way more than 1 egg. I was able to eat most of it, although now I am very nauseated. The question is, is because egg beaters are mostly egg whites that it seems like a lot more or did I just mess up?
