Question:
I am having a hard time finding a doctor in the Cigna Ohio /Cleveland HMO group...

all of cigna's info is listed under general surgery but I am having a very hard time finding a surgeon in the Cleveland HMO.....anyone have any input? We wanted to go w. dr. needleman in Columbus but we will need an extra approval to leave our HMO area.....any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks in advance....    — stixx456 (posted on March 18, 2003)

Have you tried calling your insurance company and telling them the names of the doctor's in Cleveland that perform the surgery? That's probably a good start. Off the top of my head there's Dr. Fallon at Metro, Dr. Brody at The Clinic, Dr. Sonpal at St. Vincent (along with 4 or 5 other docs but you'll have to call them for the names), Dr. Hallowell and another doc at University. Also try calling those doc's offices to see if they've accepted insurance from your insurer. Good luck and God Bless!

I dont know if this guy is covered by your insurance but you can check into that. He's absolutely AMAZING. Dr. Brody at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
