Question:
How soon and how often do you need to see the doctor after surgery?

I have been transferred to Puerto Rico due to work. I am thinking of having the surgery done at BTC in Wylie, Texas but am concerned of how often I need to fly and what would happen if I need emergency care. I don't trust the hospitals in Puerto Rico.    — myob63 (posted on January 15, 2003)

Yvonne, just my opinion, but, I wouldn't be thaat far away form home for the first 6 mos, you will see your surgeon probably 6 times in those first 6 mos...in my opinion, switch dtrs to one in puerto rico, don't take the job or postpone the surgery!
