Can anyone recommend a surgeon who does the Lap-Band - Ins. HealthNet

I live Norhern NJ, I have made so many phone calls. I can't find a doctor who does the Lap-Band and takes HealthNet? Does anyone have experience with HealthNet and qualifying? Alexander D.Abkin,M.D., performs the lap band surgery. A friend of mine had hers done last month by Dr. Abkin at Morristown Memorial.

Dr. Doug Smego is in Stamford CT. He is wonderful and I got an approval from HealthNet in less than a week. i also got lucky with a surgery date. E-mail me if you want details.---Alison
