Question:
Scale for weighing @ 400 lbs

Does anyone know where I could buy a scale that weighs people @ 400lbs in grand rapids, michigan area, or know where I could order one via mail? ......please i am desperate at this point. my surgery is 6-4-02 @ 1pm. I get weighed at a local pet store since their digital scale is so accurate. On and off ten times it always within a pound. Top weight was over 500 pounds, had me and jen and our poodles on there together not long ago.<P> Easiest remedy for your problem is 2 scales, one foot on each and add the pounds together.Low cost solution since you problably already have a scale.

Amplestuff has scales that go up to 1000 pounds. They are very accurate. I love mine.

Try an office supply store. They sell scales for mailing purposes. I got one at staples.com for around $100 that goes up to 450. Just be careful you dont become a scale worshipper!

Siltec makes two digital readout scales--one that weighs up to 500 lbs. and one that weighs up to 1000 lbs. Ample Stuff sells them both, I think, but I'd first do a search under the shopping area on Yahoo for Siltec scales...until I found the merchant that had the best price. All the best.
