Question:
Altho I have a pretty physical job, after that, I don't exercise at all (hardly)
I am 6 months post op, down 80 lbs., but am feeling very flabby and mushy. I think I need a good scolding. I do work at a pretty physical job, moving all day, on my feet alot, up and down, but then TO BE HONEST, I rarely exercise at home or take my walks like I used to. Come on, now, there's got to be others out there WHO DON'T EXERCISE either. Is is too late for me to start in order to firm up? I feel like The Pillsbury Dough-girl. I'm 50 years young. — Annie H. Hi Annie. I'm 4 1/2 months post op - down 83 pounds. I also work a
relatively physical job. I still don't go to a gym or walk like I used to
(I live in FL and it's too hot to walk!!). I do other things though
besides my job. I swim laps in the pool every day (great for the upper
arms) and do yoga/Pilates 2-3 times a week. I thought Pilates was a joke
till I tried it. I'm 43 and have arthritis in my knees. Pilates is the
greatest -- give it a try if you get the chance. It firms and tones
without having to jump up and down like a crazy person! It's never too
late to start! Best of Luck!
