Question:
Generally, how long before getting a response from obesitylaw.com-Walter Lindstrom
I can only imagine how swamped Mr Lindstrom's office is. I sent an e-mail via his website & also left a voicemail message about a week ago. I'm concerned only because I was just denied surgery about 10 days ago & I'm in limbo now. Should I expect a response within the next week or month or does it take longer due to his caseload? — mary V. (posted on May 4, 2002)

Mary- I would leave another message. I have heard he very quickly responds.
I personally contacted him two weeks ago on a Saturday and he contacted me
on the following Monday, two days later. Good luck.

Mary, I sent Mr. Lindstrom an e-mail on a Friday outlining my experience
with my insurance company and then the unprofessional assistance I got from
human resources. That was my next step in appeal. I got an e-mail answer
from his office the following Monday with all the information I needed to
review to decided whether or not I wanted to retain his services for help
with my appeal. I have sent my materials to him and hope to get his answer
soon as to whether or not he can help. My suggestion is to e-mail him
again and let him know where you are in the process of trying to get
approved for the surgery. JUST KEEP TRYING!!!

I had sent him the info via their website and recieved a confirmation via
email within a few days and the packet of info via snail mail about a week
and a half later. If you haven't heard anything yet, maybe there might have
been some server problems, etc. I would try to email and call again,
explaining what your situation with being denied and the appeal process
time limits that you have.
