Question:
should I used my husband insurance alone?

I change surgeon and the one I want to see doesn't take my insurance (BC/BS PPO) he take GHI. My husband have me in his insurance (GHI), my question is can I use his insurance alone or do I have to give both insurance? I'm not quite sure how this things work. Be aware that you husband's insurance will want to know about your insurance, since yours is considered your primary insurance. That means your husband's insurance would only cover what your primary doesn't. Your husband's insurance is unlikely to pay for you to see a doctor who is our of your primary insurance's network, especially if you have a qualified surgeon who is in network. Something to check on carefully before you make appointments, etc.
