Question:
Do lopsided boobs get more even as you lose weight?
As long as people are talking about boobs, I thought I'd ask this. I am pre-op and I was wondering... My boobs have always been uneven, one is a cup size larger than the other. Has anyone had this problem? Does it get more or less noticable after you lose weight? I know they will lose definition, but right now buying bras is darn near impossible. — [Anonymous] (posted on December 21, 2001)

I also have one breast that is larger then the other. I first noticed it
over 12 years ago when I was really packing on the weight. My doctor said
it wasn't anything to worry about and it is fairly common to one degree or
the other. Since it did not manifest itself until after I had begun to
gain a lot of weight, I would expect that after a significant weight lose,
the sizes will even back out. I am only 6.5 weeks post-op and down 45
pounds, so it will be awhile before I know if this going to be true or not
though.

Yes, I have lost over 75 pounds, and am about 40 more pounds to goal. My
breasts were very uneven before surgery. I have definitely noticed , being
4 months post op, that they are now the same size. Now that I look back, I
realize that they became different sizes when I gained alot of weight like
the previous poster mentioned.

I'm 10 mos Lap RNY and at goal, after loosing nearly 130 pounds. I've
always had one breast alot bigger than the other - and I still do.
Thankfully, Victoria and her "secrets" do "wonders"
with the wonder bra and only me and my husband are aware of the boob issue!

I also have this problem. However, my breasts are very uneven. I have what
is known as Poland Syndrome. I am missing my pectoral major muscle on my
right side leaving me with a size c and a size A cup difference. I am
losing on both sides. So the boobs are still uneven. This is a congenital
deformity (born with it) hope to have it fixed soon. Good luck, I hope they
even out. I know how you all feel.

I am sooooooo glad you posted this question. Im down about 75lbs. And one
boob hangs to my belly button and the other barely hangs there. So to
answer your question - they are still uneven. I know I was born with this
problem and am hoping that insurance will cover it to be corrected.

Not only are my boobs uneven, my whole body is much bigger on my right
side, my right thigh is 3 inches bigger than my left. I also cant sleep or
lay on my left side, it makes me sick to my stomach and gives me a
headache. I was told that it is a genetic abnormality that will decrease
in its noticiablitiy as I lose weight. I think it is pretty common in
people who are MO to have one side bigger than the other, including shoe
size! I am awaiting ins approval so maybe Ill get to find out for myself!
Good luck and Merry Christmas!
