Question:
Do anyone know if Cobra pay's 100% for wls? If not what is the pecentage pay ?

I'm going to pay my cobra 6 month's in advanced I need to know if anyone had to deal with Cobra to get approved for weight loss surgey? If so how long did it take? Also please inform me of the percentage that corbra will pay,I'm hoping 100%    — Sybil T. (posted on June 12, 2001)

Cobra coverage should be the same as it was when you had the policy through your employer. The only difference is, is you are paying the premium.

Cobra is not an insurance company, but rather a federal law that allows you to keep your exsisting insurance coverage (at you own expense). All of your benefits remain the same as they were before, so what ever the percentage was then, it will stay the same under COBRA, I hope this helps! :-)
