Question:
On Zoloft 4 weeks and never had counciling for sexual abuse as a child,will I pass?

will that effect my psych. eval? I've been on it for about 4 weeks. I think it's period related but sometimes it before, during or after my period. I'm not depressed. my life is really good except for the weight. Great job, great husband. ALso, I was sexually abused as a child and have never seen some about it, will that effect whether I pass the evaluation? The psycholigist who gives the evaluation is directly related to the weight loss program in charge of the surgery; www.smartdimensions.com, she does all the psych eval's. Shalee, I agree with Al M. If you are well adjusted otherwise, there's no need to go into anything like that during the psych eval. Some places are more thorough about it, but mine was a breeze. They really want to know about your relationship with food, if you have realistic expectations and if you have a good support system for post-op. Answer the question honestly, but you don't need to volunteer anything. Good luck! Maria
