Question:
I use Fitday.com, but they do not specific sugars, carbs, etc. Know of anything?
I am trying to keep a journal of what I eat, but I have no idea how much protein is in an egg, how much sugar is in a couple bites of watermelon, etc. Do any of you know of a carb/sugar/calorie/protein/anything type counter available on the web or elsewhere? Thanks for any info you have! — cherryindallas (posted on August 15, 2002)

If you search the food on Fitday it gives you the complete nutritional
breakdown

I just started using fitday, too. They do have carb information, but I
noticed that when I enter "custom" foods ('cause I try to take
info off the label and enter that date if I have it), there's no spot for
sugar. But, there's one for "alcohol," which sugar is sometimes
called for nutritional purposes. Try using that and see if it helps.

Fitday.com calculates alcohol as 7 calories per gram, I do not believe it
can be interchangeable with "sugar alcohols". Also, they do
break it out, not simple vs complex carbs, but the protein, carb, fat is
all there.
