Question:
Could this be an ulcer

Everytime I drink anything on an empty stomach, hot or cold, I am almost doubled over in pain. It takes a while for the pain to go away but then I am sick from an upset stomach the rest of the day. I am 2 years post op and have been transected but I still have a sour stomach alot of the time. I have a Dr appt next week but would like some feed back..    — Lisa J. (posted on May 14, 2003)

I wonder if you would let me know what your doctor says? I have recently gone into my surgeons office with complaints of pain every time I eat and drink. I first noticed the pain under my breastbone. Now, though, it hurts farther down, and eating is not fun at all, although I am not doubled over. I was prescribed some medication but it is not helping at all. I will be curious to know what your doctor tells you. Thanks. [email protected]
