Question:
My Upper GI Endoscopy was abnormal

I Have some occational heartburn and acid reflux. Had My Upper GI endoscopy today and Dr said my esophagous was severly irritated. Surgery is Scheduled in 2 weeks for Adjustable gastric banding, anyone else have results like mine? Will My surgery be postponed? Thanks for any comments!    — Julie S. (posted on September 4, 2002)

Hi mine was abnormal too. They found inflammation and a hital hernia and so far they put me on 150mg of zantacs to releive the heartburn and the inflammation did they put you on medications for the inflammation. My surgeon saw the results and did say anything about not being able to do it. So your less worse off then I am at least they did not find a hernia. sheri burke
