My Upper GI Endoscopy was abnormal

I Have some occational heartburn and acid reflux. Had My Upper GI endoscopy today and Dr said my esophagous was severly irritated. Surgery is Scheduled in 2 weeks for Adjustable gastric banding, anyone else have results like mine? Will My surgery be postponed? Thanks for any comments!
