Question:
Which insurance is most likely to approve surgery?

I have a choice of insurance carriers. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which insurance carrier is more likely to approve bypass surgury with the least amount of contest? I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota. They have been wonderful!!!! All of the reps were very compassionate and really went to bat for me. I got the approval after only a few weeks. They do require quite a bit of documentation, but I think that if you are considering a life change this major, you should be sure you cover all of the bases. Good Luck!!
