Question:
Eatting too much
I am 2 years out and i havent reached my goal...My goal is 150. I got down to 165 and then i stopped smoking...i gained 5 pounds back and I havent lost them again....I feel that i am eatting all day...a little here a little there...i dont know if this is normal..or not..How much should i be eatting 2 years out? — cutewhitegirl (posted on August 23, 2005)

A little bit of your problem with not being able to get to your goal may be
in the form of excess skin. So, until you have that removed (if necessary)
you may not get the extra pounds off. As far as how much to eat at 2 years
out, I am at that point also and I shoot for 1000-1100 calories a day. Hope
that helps. Try replacing when you are grazing with a constructive activity
instead to keep your hands and mouth occupied. You are the only one that
knows what kind of craft or activity you like. If you walk instead of
eating then you are out of the kitchen away from food and cannot eat. Or go
shopping at the mall, yard work, go talk to the neighbors, go over to a
friends house, do maintenance in your house or apt, clean house, exercise.
