Question:
Has anyone had a sharp pain in their stomach area.

This pain is right in the middle of my tummy to the right of my scar. It does not hurt all the time. Just sometimes when I move or after I eat. It feels like a knife stabbing me in my ab muscle. I am 9months post op and I have no other problems. I need all suggestions because I do not have insurance and Its going to take alot of bad news to get me to go to the doctor.    — Mercy P. I had some real sharp pains just to the left of my incision. It felt like a pulled muscle, another person at my support meetings told me to try Zantac. It worked like a mircle, after two days the pain went away. I took one pill twice a day for a few weeks and now I am down to 1 pill a day and have not had the pain since. Can't believe that it was just gas. Give this a try if it doesn't work you really should call your doctor. Good Luck RNY 10-20-03 down 51 lbs
