Question:
Does anyone know a bcn doctor in michigan who will approve you for surgery?

I have a friend with bcn and her doctor won't refer her for surgery. What's worse is she meets criteria and the reasons he give her are not valid. she needs to see bcn primary care doctor who will see her to refer her.    — LaTosha S. (posted on October 1, 2003)

I am not sure what bcn means, but if your friend calls her insurance company they should be able to give her a list of primary doctors she could change too.

BCN is Blue Care Network. Is a form of Blue Cross Blue Shield here in Michigan. But yes they should be able to provide your friend with a list of participating physicians who she/he can chose from. It also doesnt hurt to find a local support group and ask around if anyone knows of or has a good doc that takes BCN insurance as well.
