Question:
Can someone please tell me exactly what a stree test is, and it entails? How will it

My doctor has informed me that is some abnormality in my echocardiogram, and I have to go see a Cardiologist. She said something about a hole in my heart not completely closing up I think that means I have a hole in my heart right? Has anyone had this? Did it affect you having surgery?    — Patricia T. I work in a cardioligist office. Here is what they do. They do an echocardigram on you, then they put you on a treadmill to get your heart rate up and then they do another echocardigram on you again to compare they difference. It isnt a cardio workout. you shouldbe able to do it. They do have nuclear ones for people who cant walk, but if you weigh over 300 they are more involved and are a 2 day test.
