Hi Lisa, I have CIGNA too and have been worried to death about this new
stipulation. However, I am happy to say that I found out yesterday they
approved me with little documented diet history this year. Good luck!

I am going thru the same thing, I have been going to my doctor since my
last appeal-every week for minimum of 12 weeks. During this process found
out I have other help problems so now cigna has set up a peer to peer
mediation. I have been turned down initially then on my first appeal. There
were several things they required, diets were the first and at least 2
attempts that were supervised totalling 26 weeks in the last 12-24 months.
If I were you, go ahead and see your doctor weekly, he can just have you
weighed in and put you on a 1000 calorie diet which was also required. If
you start now it will help you in the long run. good luck
