Question:
Weight trainning and walking just isn't doing it for me what should I do?
I have been doing 30-45 minutes of weight trainning 3-4 times a week for a couple months also when I am there I ride the airdyne for 3-5 miles I also do the walk aerobics mile tape 6 days a week but haven't lost anything in almost 3 weeks now. I am 3 months out and down 50 pounds I eat 650-800 calories a day drink 100 oz water and 60grams of protein. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Alicia — Alicia K. (posted on February 10, 2003)

There are a lot of questions out there about plateaus this week... I'd read
through all of them.. but one thing is for sure..depending on what you
weigh.. 650 or 800 calories is not enough and that will slow your weight
loss.. eat more (make it protein) and eat more often... that might help..
also.. if you're getting 60 grams of protein and eating 800 calories..
you're only getting 300 calories in protein.. what is the rest? I try to
get more than 60gms.. I try to get about 48-55% protein and the rest
dividied between fat and carbs.. as evenly as I can... I keep track on
fitday... others will tell you.. watch the carbs.. me.. I believe in
moderation... good luck.
