Question:
Has anyone else had problems getting approval through Great West?

The problem seems to be in getting them to actually admit they have the information. The BTC said they mailed it on 11/13 and then faxed it on 11/22 and according to the CSR, as of 12/4. they still do not have it. I have been denied based on the fact that they needed more information, and that is what I am trying to get to them. The woman assigned to my case will not return my calls, and I got the name of her supervisor, who will not return my calls either. I need help!! Any suggestions?    — Lynda D. Hi, I have Great West and really did not have to many problems with them. They did require more info and a psych. eval before they would approve me. They denied me and then 2 days after I had my psych. eval I was approved. They paid for my complete surgery and hospital stay. I wrote them a letter as to why I needed this surgery and a list of diets that had been tried through out the years. Don't give up and keep trying. I recommend that you get the psych. eval. done if you haven't before you go any further.
