Question:
Do any post-op patients feel full in a different place on their body??

2 Weeeks post-op and I am on pureed diet. Does anyone have a different full feeling? Before the durgery, full meant my entire stomach from sided to sided felt full, too full in fct. Now, full in located in one specific area below my left breast. Has anyone else had this feeling???    — amanda W. (posted on October 6, 2002)

Yes...that's normal and over time it will feel perfectly normal.

Definitely! I have the same feeling. Our old "full" just doesn't feel like being full now. Now, If I get too full, I actually have pain in my chest. It is like my stomach is now located right around my heart. Very strange...but you will get used to it. GOOD LUCK! (open RNY 7/23/02 -60 lbs)

Yep, it's a different spot. And it feels more like pressure/indigestion than the old full bloated sleepy feeling.
