Question:
what's next?

My PCP and my endroconlogist have both told me surgery is medically required and referred me a surgical group to do the sugery. That office called and said my insurnace would not cover the surgery. Upon calling the insurance co. myself I was told to have my PCP call and indicate the surgery was indeed necessary. He did this and was told I was not covered. I am now very discouraged and dont know what to do next. HELP!!    — warren B. (posted on May 14, 2002)

I've been there, my friend - I'm sorry you're having to go through it. I spent over a year battling my insurance. Is there an exclusion in the policy? It sounds like your getting mixed signals from there....same with mine. Let me know if I can help in anyway - I know, if nothing else, it is good to have someone who's "been there/done that". :)
