what's next?

My PCP and my endroconlogist have both told me surgery is medically required and referred me a surgical group to do the sugery. That office called and said my insurnace would not cover the surgery. Upon calling the insurance co. myself I was told to have my PCP call and indicate the surgery was indeed necessary. He did this and was told I was not covered. I am now very discouraged and dont know what to do next. HELP!!
